HomeMy WebLinkAbout1982-02-11ff ST11-E Or TrXAS COLWry OF TARRP�NT CITY OF CPAPEVINE The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Grapevine, Texas met in Workshop Session on this the 11th day of February, 1982 at 7:00 p.m. in the Conference Room, 413 Main street, with the following persons present to-wit: Sharron spencer Ron Cook Harold Anderson Ann Glynn Harlen Joyce Gerald Norman Chairman Vice Chairman Member Member Member Member constituting a quorum with Member Klee Hawkins absent, with the following members of the City Staff: Jim Baddaker Public Works Director Marc Guy City Planner Patte Bird Secretary CALL TO ORDER The meting was called to order by Chairman Sharron Spencer. NEW BUSINESS The Planning & Zoning Commission discussed general areas relative to the Residential Zoning districts. Changes made were: Section 7 - R-15 was changed to R-20. Section 7 - Subsection A - Added No. 7 - Home occupation. Section 7 & 8 - Subsection B - added 1\70. 5 - Storage Building (100 sq. ft. or less with no wiring or plumbing. Anything larger will have to have the approval of the City Council). The last paragraphon page 5, beginning with "When any of the foregoing..."; eliminate the portion "70 feet from front lot line nor less than" and add after "Street right-of-way" 6 feet from rear or side lot line. Section 7 - Subsection D, No. 2 - Charge to 12 stories or 20 feet. Section 8 - Subsection I - eliminate No. 2; change No. 3 to allow cooking facilities. Section 8 - Subsection C - change the following minimun requirements. Section 8 - Subsection C - Change the following minim= requirments: # 1- Change from 25 ft. to 30 ft. #2 --Change from 20 ft. to 25 ft. #3 - Change from 5 ft. to 6 ft. #4 - Change from 60 -ft. to 65 ft. Section 8 - Subsection D - change the following maxi=, requirements: 1#2 - Change from 2 stories or 25 feet to 1 story or 16 feet. Section 8 - Subsection C - Mr. J. R. Baddaker suggested consideration in defining front setback with regards to cul-de-sac. Section 49, Page 81, Paragraph 69 - Should eliminate "Additional OquiPrx-_Int" from after "operation" and place it after "without the installation of machinery-. Consideration to setting a minimum square footage of living area Single - Family zone was discussed at length. The structure in each Single y ea r Planning and Zoning Commission will continue with this Workshop, issue at a later AD,JOUW= There being no further business to come before the planning and Z_ Commission, Member Arm Glynn made a motion to adjourn.
