HomeMy WebLinkAbout1982-03-02STATE OF Trms COUNTY OF TARRANT CITY OF GRAPEVINE The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City Of Grapevine, Texas met in Special Session with a Workshop Session on this the 2nd day of march, 1982 at 7:00 P.m in the Conference Room, 413 main Street, with the following Persons present to-wit: Sharron Spencer Chairman Harold Anderson PI tuber Ann Glynn Member Harlen Joyce Member Gerald Norman Member constituting a quorum with Members Ron Cook and Klee Hawkins absent, with the following members of the City Staff: Jim Baddaker Public Works Director Tommy Hardy Building official Marc Guy City Planner Patte Bird Secretary CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Chairman Sharron Spencer. N39 BUSINESS The Planning & Zoning Commission to consider the re-plat of Woodland: Estates and make a reccmD-endation to the City Council. There was no discussion. Member Harold Anderson then made a motion to accept the re-plat. L'r- an I The motion was seconded.by Member Harlen Joyce d prevailed by the following votes: Ayes : Spencer, Glynn, Norman) Qv� 'u yl Nays : None U Absent : Cook, Hawkins The Planning & Zoning Commission to consider the re-plat of of the Highland S. Addition and make a recommendation to the City Council. There was no discussion. Member Ann Glynn then made a motion to accept the re-plat. The motion was seconded by Mlernber Harold Anderson and prevailed by the following votes: Ayes : Spencer, Anderson, Joyce, a Nays : None Absent : Cook, Hawkins The next order of business was for the Planning & Zoning Commission to consider the Dooley Street Condominium Addition Preliminary Plat. There was a brief discussion where the members requested that the plat be approved with the street R.O.W. changes included. Member Gerald Norman nude a motion to accept the Preliminary Plat. The motion was seconded by Member Ann Glynn and prevailed by the following votes: Ayes : Spencer, Anderson, Joyce '\ - -411\ Nayes : None Absent : Cook, Hawkins The Planning & Zoning Commission discussed general areas relative to the Residential Zoning districts. Changes made were: Section 11 - R-3.5 F Four Family District Regulations was changed to - R.3.75 Three and Four Family District Regulations. Section 11 - Subsection A -On-Lit No. 1 and No. 2. Section 11 - Subsection A - Change No. 4 to Fourplexes. Section 11 - Subsection B - No. 1. Change wording to ,Detached, covered, common parking,,. Section 11 - Subsection B - Add No. 3 - Cabana, Pavilion or roofed area. Section 11 - Subsection B - Add No. 4 - Laundry room for tenent use. Section 11 - Subsection B - Add to the Paragraph after "right-of-way" and at least six feet from rear and side lot line. Section 11 - Subsection D - Change Depth of front yard from 30 feet to 25 feet. Section 11 - Subsection D - Change Depth of lot from 80 feet to 100 feet. Section 11 - Subsection D - Change land area per dwelling unit from 3,500 sq. ft. to 3,750 sq. feet. Section 11 - Subsection D - Change the wording in the ending paragraph to read "only one family, triplex or four unit structure shall be permitted on each lot or lot of record as the case may be. Section 11 - Subsection E - No. 1 - Change the height of principal structure from 22 stories to 2 stories. Section 11 - Subsection F - I-linimum of sq. ft. per dwelling unit per the current ordinance page 1882. Section 12 - Subsection A - Omit No. 4 - Add Nursing Homes. Section 12 - Subsection B - Change No. 1 to "read detached, covered, common parking". Section 12 - Subsection B - No. 2 - Delete the words "principal building used as". Section 12 - Subsection B - No. 4 - omit. rlinutes from the Planning & Zoning Workshop n the 4th day f February, 1982 were discussed. 0 0 ru Member Ann Glynn made a correction on cT 2, Section 29 to read - "Temporary Use" instead of "Temporary Uses ". Member Gerald Norman made the motion to approve the minutes as amended. The motion was seconded by Member Ron Cook acid prevailed by the following votes: Ayes : Spencer, Anderson, Hawkins, Joyce & Norman Nays : None Abstain : None The Planning & Zoning Commission discussed their By -Laws, Member Gerald Norman made a motion to approve the By-Taws. The motion was seconded by Member Klee Hawkins and prevailed by the following votes: Ayes : Spencer, Cook, Anderson, Joyce & Norman Nays : None Abstain : None There being not further business to come before the Planning & Zoning Commission, Member Gerald Norman made a motion to adjourn.
