CITY OF GRAPEVINE
The Pluining and Zoning Commission of the City of Grapevine, Texas met
in Workshop Session on this the 22nd day of March, 1982 at 7:00 P.M. in
the Conference Room, 413 Main Street, with the following persons present
to-wit:

constituting a quorum with the following members Of the City Staff:

Director of Public Works
City Planner
Building Official
The meting was called to order by Chairman Sharron Spencer.
NEW BUSINESS
The Commission resumed work on the zoning ordinances.
Section 20 - Subsection C - No. 1 - Depth Of front yard - none to
25.
Section 20 - Subsection C - No. 4 & 5 will be discussed after
parking requirements are determined.
Section 20 - Subsection C - No. 6 - Distance between detached
building (add) "on the same lot".
Section 20 - Subsection D - No. 1 - Delete single family residence
and add "residential zoned district excluding R-MF 1 & 2 and
R-3.75".
Section 20 - Subsection D - No. 1 & 2 - Will be discussed after
parking is discussed.
Section 21 - Subsection A - No. 2 - Delete "Manufacturing".
Section 21 - Subsection A - No. 8 - Add "Outside storage, provided
that such storage shall be completely encompassed by a blind
fence or wall at least seven feet (71) high and provided that
materials stored shall be stacked no higher than one foot
below the top of the fence or wall".
Section 21 - Subsection A - No. 7 Omit.
Section 21 - Subsection A - No. 11 Omit.
Section 21 - Subsection A - No. 12 Add after "new automotive
parts..." "Automotive body shop excluding salvage and/or wrecking
yard and statement" and add "outside storage, provided that such
storage shall be completely encompassed by a blind fence or wall
at least seven feet (7') high and provided that materials stored
shall be stacked no higher than one foot (1') below the top of
the fence or wall".
Section 21 - No. 14 - Delete "go carts, etc".
Section 21 - No. 24 - Delete "storage or repair, lease and rental".
Section 21 - Add No. 29 - "Public utility uses required to service
district".
Tho following principal uses are to be surfaced:
44, 46, #5, #17, 418, #19, #20 (sales and display areas), #21,
#22, #23, #24, #27, #28.
Subsection B - Accessory Uses:
No. 2 - Delete "single family residence" and add "residential
zoned district ".
No. 3 - Add "Screened garbage, etc." and delete "single family
residence" and add "residential zoned district ".
No. 4 - Delete "single family residence" and add "residential
zoned district ".
Subsection C - Area requirements:
No. 2 - 6 feet to 0.
No. 3 - 6 feet to 0.
No. 4 & 5 - will be addressed when parking requirements are
determined.

There being no further business to come before the Planning and Zoning
Commission, Member Harlen Joyce made a motion to adjourn. The motion
was seconded by leer Ron Cook and prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes . Spencer, Cook, Glynn, Anderson, Hawkins, Joyce, Norman
Nays . None
Abstain : None
