HomeMy WebLinkAbout1982-04-06STATE OF TEXAS CCU= OF UVPv-,NT CITY OF GrAPEVINE The Planning and Zoning Corwassion of the City Of Grapevine, Texas met in ttibrkshop Session on this the 6th day of April, 1982 at 7:00 p.m. in the Civic Center, 311 S. rain, with the following persons present to-Wit: Sharron spencer Ron Cook Harold Anderson Ann Glynn Klee Hawkins Harlen Joyce Gerald Norman Chairman Vice Chairman Member Member Member Member Member constituting a quorum With members of the city Staff: Tommy Hardy Building Official Marc Guy City Planner Patte Bird Secretary The meting was called to order by Chairman Sharron Spencer. NEW BUSINESS Section 24 - Subsection A - No. 4 - add "with concrete surfaces" after "Motor freight terminals". Section 24 - Subsection B - No. 1 Delete "any principal building used for single family dwelling', and add "residential zoned district". Section 24 - Subsection B - No. 2 Delete "single family dwelling" and add "residential zoned district". Section 24 - Subsection B - No. 3 - Add "screened- before "garbage"; delete "single family dwelling,, and add "residential zoned district".. Section 24 - Subsection B - No. 6 - Add after "railroad" "equipment storage". Section 24 - Subsection D - No. 1 - Delete "developed lot" and add "residential zoned district-. Section 24 - Subsection D - No. 2 - Delete "dwelling purposes" and add "residential zoned district". Section 25 - Subsection B - No. 1 - Delete "principal building used for a single family dwelling" and add "residential zoned district". Section 25 - Subsection B - No. 2 - Delete "single family &,,elling" and add "residential zoned district". Section 25 - Subsection B - No. 3 - Add "screened" before garbage; delete "developed lot used for dwelling purposes" and add "residential zoned district". Section 25 - Subsection B - No. 6 - After "railroad" add "equipment storage". Section 25 - Subsection C - No. 9 - Add after "natural vegetation,, "such as lawn, trees or shrubs". Section 26 - First paragraph - Delete "'to develop multiple land uses"; also delete "NO minimum land area is required for the S-P district". Section 26 - Subsection B - After the first paragraph add a new No. 1 - "The site plan shall be Prepared by a registered surveyor, registered architect or registered engineer". Section 26 - Subsection B. - No, 10 - delete "where such treatmnt is" and add "ill accordance with Section - (Proposed landscaping section) . Section 26 - Subsection B - No. 10 - delete the last paragraph "The Planning Con-mission . . of. Section 26 - Subsection B - No. 13 - Change to read ,F for a S-P district use shall file one my1ar and ach applicant two (2) blue line copies Of the site plan with the City staff in a size sufficient to clearly show all Of the above information, and a copy ,eroxed and reduced to 8X, x 11. Section 26 - Subsection D - No. 7 - Change to read "Off- Street parking facilities shall be in accordance with Section street parking section) unless otherwise granted". - (Off - street 26 - Subsection G - Delete entirely. Section 27 - The entirety will be discussed with John Boyle with regards to deleting completely. Section 29 - Subsection A - No. 7 - Change 250 feet to 1000 feet delete "single family residential lot" add "residential zoned district". Section 29 - Subsection B - Change single fan-Lily residential" 100 feet to 250 feet, delete add "residential zoned district- and add "unless adjusted by the City Council% Section 29 - Subsection E - Delete entirely. Section 20 - Subsection F (1) - Change the word "Inspector" to "Official". ADJOUP'L,,&E2\,,T There being no further business to come before the Planning & Zoning Comm-ission, Member Gerald Norman made a motion to adjourn. The motion was seconded by Member Harlen Joyce and prevailed by the following votes: Ayes : Spencer, Cook, Anderson, Glynn, Hawkins, Joyce and Norman Nays : None Abstain : None PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE DpIANNING & ZOIUNTG M?
