CITY OF GRAPEVINE
The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Grapevine, Texas met
in t-,`brlzshop Session on this the 3rd day of may, 1982 at 7:00 P.I. in the
Conference Room, 413 Pl--iin Street, with the following persons present
to -wit:

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Sharron Spencer.
NEW BUSINESS
The Commission resumed work on the zoning-ordinances.
Section 31 - Screening - Subsection B - No. 1 - Change the wording

"Screening Alternate E shall consist of a solid wocd wall with
redwood slats to a minimum height of 61 feet from the average
grade of the nearest property line of the property adjacent to
that on which the screening is required.
Section 31 - Subsection C - Add No. 6 - Chain link fence.
Section 27 - PUD - Will discuss later.
Section 43 - Nonconforming Uses and Structures - Will discuss
later.
Section 48 - Board of Adjustzrent - Will discuss later.
Section 49 - Definitions
-'�dd - New No. 3 - Agricultural Zone - City Staff to explain.
Add - New No. 37 - Cabana - Separate Structure on a lot incidental
to recreation area and excluding kitchen and sleeping facility.
Add - New No. 66 - Condo - Definition will be included later.
No ' . ' 69 - The wording "additional equipment" add after the phrase
...installation of machinery".
No. 94 - Add the wording "cul-de-sac zoning ordinance R-1 shall be
added to all residential zoned district".
No. 98 - Change the word "foll to "of".
Add - New No. 102 - Efficiency Unit - To be explained later.
No. 170 - City Staff to define Gas Station.
No. 173 - Delete the wording "...but excluding kitchen facilities".
Add - New No. 250 - Minimum Square Footage Per Dwelling Space -
Air conditioned living space.
No. 252 Change the Wording to "Mobile Home Subdivision".
No. 255 Add the word "units" after "dwelling".
Add - No. 275 - Natural Vegetation --To be defined later.
No. 300 - Delete "hard all weather" add "asphalt or concrete".
No. 360 - Change the wording to "Railroad Equipment, Storage
Yards", and after "...boxcars and engines" add "and related
equipment
Add - New 390 -,Screening - To be defined later.
Add - New 395 - Storage Buildings - 100 sq. ft. or less - no
electrical wiring, or plumbing; anything larger needs Council
approval.
Section 50 - Delete entirely.

There being no further business to come before the Planning and Zoning
Ccamssion, Member Tom, Powers made a motion to adjourn. The motion was
seconded by Plember Harlen Joyce and prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes : Spencer, Cook, Glynn, Hawkins, Joyce, Norman, Powers
Nays : None
Abstain : None
