The meting was called to order by Chairman Sharron Spencer.
NENA7 BUSINESS:
The entire zoning ordinances were reviewed and the following changes
were made:
Agricultural District - The Commission discussed the fact that due
to the nature of Grapevine and the area that could be annexed,-
that there was no need for an Agricultural Zone at this tine.
Masonry requirements - Add the "l-lesquite Ordinance Definition"
to all zoning districts with the percentage being 80.
Section 11 - Minimum Requirements - Add "Underpinning and skirting
shall be masonry".
Section 20 - Mini-Warehouses - Add "To be used for storage only".
Definition of Condo - "Individual ownership is limited to the unit
itself; front to rear, ceiling to floor".
There was a discussion on the minimum requirements for brick and masonry
fire walls for non-residential uses. Due to the lack of research and
possible conflict with the Building Codes, the Commission decided
against including it in the ordinances at this time.
There was a lengthy discussion concerning adding to the By-Laws a
requirement to have a quarterly meting to keep abreast of the Master
Plan. These meetings will met on the 1st Thursday of the months of
March, June, September and December.
The Commission submitted the Zoning Ordinances to John Boyle, for his
review, on June 7, 1982.
