The Planning & Zoning COMMission of the City of Grapevine, Texas met in
6brkshop Session on this the 18th day of March, 1982 at 7:00 P.M. in the
Conference Room, 413 Main Street, with the following persons present
to-wit:

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Sharron Spencer.
NEW BUSINESS
Section 15 - Subsection c - No. 6 - Change 3,500 sq. ft. to
3,000 sq. ft.
Section 15 - Subsection C - Add minimum square footage per dwelling
unit is 1,200.
Section 18 - Subsection B - No. 1 - Delete "principal building used
as a single family residence" and change to "residential zoned
district.
Section 18 - Subsection B - No. 2 - Add "Screened" before garbage,
delete "developed lot used for single family dwelling,,
residential zoned district". and add
Section 18 - Subsection B - No. 3 - Delete "developed lot used for
single family dwellincr-, and add "residential zoned district,-.
Section 18 - Subsection C - No. 1 - change 301 to 25'.
Section 18 - Subsection c - No. 3 - change 10, to 61.
Section 18 - Subsection D - No. 1 - change wording to read 112
stories not to extend over 30' in height".
Section 18 - Subsection D - No. 2 - change from 351 to 301.
Section 19 - Subsection A - No. 4 - change enclosable to enclosed.
Section 19 - Subsection A - No. 7 - orrat.
Section 19 - Subsection A -No. 9 - Delete what is written and add
"Retail stores, such as grocery, drug, appliance, variety, bakery
sales, shoe repair, flowers, apparel, barber shop, toy shop,
beauty parlor and other shops for custom work or the making of
articles to be sold at retail on the premises; but no secondhand
goods stores or yards shall be permitted". Antique shop, art
gallery, books or stationery store.
Section 19 - Subsection A - No. 12 - Washaterias as defined on page
1887 of the current C-1 zoning district.
Section 19 -Subsection A - No. 13 - Add dry-cleaning and laundry
pick-up stations as permitted in current ordinance on page
1886.
Section 19 - Subsection B - delete the wording "principal building
used as a single family" to "residential zoned district".
Section 19 - Subsection B - No. 3 - Add the word "Screened" before
garbage, delte the wording "a developed lot used as a single
family dwelling" and add "residential zoned district".
Section 19 - Subsection B - No. 4 - Change the wording from "single
family dwelling" to "residential zoned district".
Section 19 - Subsection C - No. 2 - change from 61 to 251
Section 19 - Subsection D - No. 1 - change to read 2 stories not
to exceed 301 in height.
Section 19 - Subsection D - No. 2 - change to read 1 story not
to exceed 15' in height.
Section 20 - Subsection A - Omit No. 6 and add the wording
11com-ercial amusements, the operation of which is totally within
an enclosed building allowing for bowling alleys, movie theaters,
roller skating and ice skating arenas, and also allow for 0 t-h_
indoor amusements that might exist in the future, such as i other

minature golf courses, but excluding billiard parlors and door
arcades".
Section 20- Subsection A - Add No.12 - "permitting professional
dry-cleaning, pressing, dyeing and laundry services".
Section 20 - Subsection A - Add No. 13 - "hotels and motels ".
Section 20 - Subsection A - Add No. 14 - "sales of second-had
goods in an enclosed building as pertained in current ordinance
on pages 1886.1 - 1887.
Section 20 - Subsection B - No. 2 - delete the wording "principal
building used as a single family" and add "residential zoned
district".
Section 20 - Subsection B - No. 3 - delete the wording "principal
building used as a single family" and add "residential zoned
district".
Section 20 Subsection B - No. 4 - Add the word "screened" before
garbage.delete the wording "principal building used as a single
family" and add "residential zoned district".
Section 20 - Subsection B - No. 5 - delete the wording "developed
lot used as a single family dwelling,, to read "residential zoned
district".
