The last item of new business for the Board of Zoning Adjustment to
consider was BZA91-23-r submitted by Mack Jameson, Enway Properties,
who is requesting special exception to Grapevine Zoning Ordinance
82-73, in accordance with Section 68.H.3 to allow continuation of
the non-conforming status of 515 East Northwest Highway.
Greg Wheeler explained that Conditional Use Application cu91-16 was
going before city council and the Planning and Zoning commission on
September 17, 1.991, requesting outdoor storage of building supplies
and materials in the CC, community commercial Zoning District.
BZA91-21 must be approved before Council may approve cU91-16.
Mr. Ed Tally, the applicant, was present to answer any questions.
With no one to speak either for or against the request, John Dorety
made a motion to close the public hearing. Randy Howell seconded
the motion which prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes: Giffin, Thompson, Dorety, Howell, Williams
Nays: None
Absent: Bass, Zimmerman
Chairman Giffin asked about the B & B Auto variance case that was
heard before this Board October 5, 1987.
Marcy Ratcliff stated that the variances requested by B & B Auto
were denied.
Marcy Ratcliff explained that the only improvement would be a
chainlink fence with red wood slats to screen the outdoor storage
of building supplies and materials.
