III -C -- Regular testing of automatic sprinkler and standpipe
systems.
IV -A Interior floor finishes having to meet criteria test for
flammability and the location of those floor finishes.
IV -B Christmas Trees. This item will be deleted.
V -A Recognizing standards of good practice.
VI -A Hazardous materials. This section will expedite in
emergency programs. Guideline for storage for a
particular hazardous material.
VI -B Emergency release venting for above ground storage tanks.
VI--D Reference table for UBC.
VI -E Separation for explosive materials being transported
through the City.
VI -F Unit Conversion Tables, metric to decimal system.
Dick Ward noted that after the changes were made to the Code, a
draft copy will be sent to the members.
BBA 92 -01 MESA DESIGN GROUP,. INC.
The next item of business for the Building Board of Appeals to
consider was BBA92 -01, submitted by Mesa Design Group, Inc., who is
requesting variances from Grapevine's City Code of Ordinances,
Chapter 7, Article IV. Fences, Section 7- 127(a) and Section 7--
127 (b) .
Greg Wheeler explained that Stan Cowan of Mesa Design Group, Inc.,
submitted the application for the Heatherwilde Subdivision.
Timberline Drive intersects this subdivision. The applicant is
requesting to build entryways for the north and south entrances off
Timberline Drive. The proposed construction of the entries meets
the requirements of the City except for Lot 15, Block 3, which the
entry will encroach into the required front yard.

MINUTES
Last, the Building Board of Appeals considered the minutes. Vernie
Henderson made a motion to accept the minutes of the November 11,
1991, December 9, 1991, and January 9, 1992, meetings. Greg
Czapanskiy seconded the motion which prevailed by the following
vote:
Ayes: Gordon, Czapanskiy, Henderson
Nays: None
Absent: Lipscomb
ADJOURNMENT
Greg Czapanskiy made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Vernie
Henderson seconded the motion which prevailed by the following
vote:
Ayes: Gordon,' Czapanskiy, Henderson
Nays* None
Absent: Lipscomb
