C� F. If ill met with the council and asked for a reduction
in his city taxes and the rendition on his cafe property was
reduced from 42000.00 to $1500.00, bg motion and 3econd unanimously
carried.®
By motion and second the rendition on Henry Willingham station
was was raduced from 2000.00 to �1800.0().
Messrs. Ili. C. Lucas and -il. F. Keeling rme t with the City Council
on ehalf of the 3-outhwest Telephone Company in re,-Tard to their
increasing their rates and making some improvements' in the telephone
system in Grapevine- including the installation of a common battery
system and the council advised thesegentle men that it would be sat-
isfactory with the City council to make such improvements and increase
in rates so long as the rates were not too high and satisfactory with
the telephone subscribers.
Motion and second unanimously carried giving J. *ill

aeon permission to tie on to the City water line any where he desired.
The City not to 'be out any expense for the building or maintenance of
said line and are only to set a meter where the city lines are tapped
