and E. C. YAncly, aldermen.
The minutes of last regular meeting and subsequent called
meeting;; read and approved.

lightin6 situation. No action was taken by the council.
Mr. W. i. Hedrick and Fire Chief E. C. Daniel net with the
Council in resard to fire hose and the City Council purchased
200 feet 2L Inch Tidal Fire hose with couplings complete and
300 feet ll inch hose and nozzles and fittings. A inch hose

01.00 Per foot and 11 inch hose .75 per foot. City to have

five per Cent discount for cash, or 12 month8 net.
On motion duly seconded the mayor was instructed or authorized
to appoint a special police officer for the City at any time he
deems it necessary.
The city Jecretary was instructed to write the Kate Highway
departsent in regard to permission to croes the, highway in
front of Vrs- l. S. Hall's place with a water line.
The council voted to have 0400.0i insurance written on the
sewing machines at the.3ewing rooT. H.C.Yancey instructed to write
the insurance
over
��oxtion duly seconded to approve the City tax rolls for the year
1938 and the tax rate was set at 111.40 per hundred dollars.
There being no further business motion carried to adjourn.
