N ordinance WKS the terms of Off ice TOf the Officers of the
City of Grapevine Texas and setting the date for holding the
elections of said City ,Officers and creating the office City
Secretary and Treasurerr and providingfor the appointment Of such
officer.
Beit ordained by the City Council f the City of Grapevine that.
there shall be held on the first Tuesday in April A. D. 190 and
every "tad`'} years thereafter, an election for the purpose of electing
Yayorl a Marshal and five alderman, who shall serve in the capacithl

such election, rho shall take tye oath prescribed by the
Statutes of Terra, and perform such duties as are presEribed by the
laws of Texas and the ordinances o the City of Grapevine ,

one of the Alderman or some other suitable person vto shall olci
thoOf 'ice of City Secretary and Treasurer for the tern of two
years or until his successor shall have been appointed and. qualified.
The said. Secretary and Treasurer shall receive such salary may
e agreed upon by the Cite Council ands shall give bond: in s dk sum

All ordiances and parts of ordinance in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed.
This ordiance to take effect after publication as required by law.
