Motion duly seconded that the City join the Texas
League
of municipalities and p the $25.00 membership fees.
Unanimously
carried.
The election returns of April 2nd, 1935 were read
and the
following were declared elected: B. R. "Mall Mayor,

H. C. Yanceym F. P. Wiegers, C. M. Millican and A.
W.
Willhoite
aldermen, term for one year beginning with the regular
meeting
date in May, 19 35 .
Communication from Mr. C. H. Harris in regard to his city
taxes and amount due him by the> City for lights and gas for
County Free iib rary. Motion duly seconded that he be allowed all
his city taxes, which is a total of $32.30, up to and including
the year 1934, for such gas and li ts. This figures on a basis
o'f $1.00 per month for lights and V.00 per month for gas when
gas is in use.
Mayor Wall and Alderman Austin reported on their visit to
a meeting of the Texas League of IF- uniciPalities held in Green-
ville, Texas held on April l2th, 1935.
No further business motion carried to adjourn.
