Minutes of last xtatiEt meeting read and approved.
Motion carried to have the City Depository make monthly
statement of the various funds of the city.
Motion carried to make our regular business meeting
night the second Frid.-ky night in each month until further
notice.
The following committees were appointed:
Committee on 'later and Sewer pinnt and water and
sewer grievances;
C.M.Millican and A. W. Willhoite
Committee on Health;
D. E. Austin and Henry Willingham
Committee on Budgebt and Finance-,
A. W. Willhoite and MI.C. Yancey
Committee on Streets and Alleys;
Henry Willingham and D. E. Austin.

After dissaussing various applicants for the
Water Superintendent's job, W.J.Henderson was appointed by
mayor and ananiniously confirmed by the council. His salary
to be $50.00 per month beginning July lst, 1933, which may
be terminated at any time upon the payment by the city for
the time actually employed.
It was also voted to let T.W.McPherson remain at
work for the remainder of the month of June, 1933 if he
desired to do so> at his regular salary and give Mr. Henderson
time to become familiar with the operation and duties of the
Pod ition, YJMAX,and if this proposition is acceptable, Mr.
Henderson to be paid $25.00 for his work in the month of June
1933.
Mr. F. J. Chambers was appy ntd. sewer inspector
for the ensuing year.
It was unanimously voted, by the council. to `buy gas
and oil from the various filling stations in town one month
at the time in rotation, beginning with . 1®Lipscomb (Gulf
Service Station)and,continuing on down main street ® `til
all stations have been patronized.
No further business motion carried to adjourn.
