This letter confirms on May 24, 2021 the Historic Preservation Staff approved with
conditions #CA21-34 for the property addressed 420 South Main Street, legally described
as Block 3, Lot 11, City of Grapevine, to the Grapevine Historic Preservation Ordinance 91-
73 (Appandix G — Grapevine Code of Ordinances), as amended, for the following:
1. Remove existing canvas awning fabric from metal frames and replace with new fire
treated canvas awning fabric as follows:
Fire Resist fire-resistant awning fabric #82017-0000 in "Crimson Red" color;
as per the attached fabric sample with the conditions a permit is obtained from the
Building Department.
An approved Certificate of Appropriateness is not an approved building permit; a
building permit is / is not required. Contact the City of Grapevine's Building
Department at 817.410.3165 for fees and information regarding permits.
