WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine desires to cover the following software under a
maintenance agreement:
535 Each Novell Open Enterprise Server Maintenance $10,919.35
560 Each GroupWise 1 -User Maintenance $ 9,424.80
51 Each GroupWise Web/Wireless/Messenger $ 208.08
6 Each Novell VLA Licensing $ 2,220.00
Total.................................................... $22,772.23
WHEREAS, the SHI-Government Solutions Company is the sole provider of
maintenance for the software listed above.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL • THE CITY
• 'A• TEXAS:
Section 1. That all matters stated in the above preamble are true and correct and
are incorporated herein as if copied in their entirety.
Section 2. That the City Council of the City of Grapevine authorizes the purchase
of a maintenance agreement to cover the listed software for a total not to exceed
$22,772.23.
Section 3. That the City Manger, or his designee, is authorized to take all steps
necessary to consummate the purchase of said maintenance agreement.
Section 4. That this resolution shall take effect from and after the date of its
passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 5th day of September, 2006.
