102 Equal Employment Opportunity
It is the policy of the City of Grapevine that employment decisions shall be based on
merit, qualifications, and competence. Except where required or permitted by law,
employment practices shall not be influenced or affected by virtue of an applicant's
or employee's race, color, religion, sex, National origin, age, political opinions or any
other characteristic protected by law. In addition, it is the City of Grapevine's policy
to provide an environment that is free of unlawful harassment of any kind. This policy
governs all aspects of employment, promotion, assignment, discipline, discharge,
and other terms or conditions of employment. Any employee who feels that they
have been discriminated against may process a grievance in accordance with the
City's policies and procedures.
