HomeMy WebLinkAbout0807 Prohibited Use of Municipal Equipment and Facilities122 807 Prohibited Use of Municipal Equipment and Facilities The purpose of this policy is to ensure that City property, equipment, and facilities are utilized by employees for the sole purpose of providing services to the citizens of Grapevine. The theft or borrowing of tools or any other equipment; removing property from a City work-site, including new, used, or discarded materials; use of office supplies, photocopy machines, mailing services, long distance telephone service, or any other City service for personal business or gain will result in immediate disciplinary action, up to and including termination. City facilities which are not accessible to the general public may not be used for personal reasons. City facilities will be open after normal working hours only for employees performing overtime work authorized in advance by the Department Head.
