This letter confirms on June 23, 2021 Historic Preservation Staff approved with conditions
#CA21-37 for the property addressed 307 East College Street, legally described as Block: 29,
Lot: 1 B, Grapevine, City of, GV to the Grapevine Historic Preservation Ordinance 91-73
(Appendix G — Grapevine Code of Ordinances), as amended, for the following:
1. Construct a new 3' tall wrought iron fence with ornamental finials along the perimeter
of the front and side yards of the property:
a. Fence to have two 3' tall wrought iron passage gates at the sidewalk entrances
to the house,
b. Fence to have a 3' tall wrought iron driveway gate supported on metal posts;
2. Construct a new 5' tall wrought iron fence at the east property line between the
existing wood privacy fence the adjoining property's driveway gate;
as per the attached plan, details and photos with the conditions a building permit is
obtained from the Building Department.
An approved Certificate of Appropriateness is not an approved building permit; a
building permit(,Lsj is not required. Contact the City of Grapevine's Building
Department at 817.410.3165 for fees and information regarding permits.
