This letter confirms on June 17, 2021 Historic Preservation Staff approved with conditions
#CA21-36 for the property addressed 908 East Wall Street, legally described as Block: 3, Lot:
1, D. E. Box Addition, Grapevine, City of, GV to the Grapevine Historic Preservation
Ordinance 91-73 (Appendix G — Grapevine Code of Ordinances), as amended, for the
following:
Construct new fencing as follows:
a. Install a 8' high horizontal board wood fence between the house the detached
garage building along the driveway;
b. Install a 8' high horizontal board wood fence from the edge of the wrought iron
fence to the rear property line; install a 8' high horizontal board fence from the
edge of the house to the east neighboring fence with an 8' tall passage gate;
c. Install a new 6' tall iron and wood fence at each side of the driveway entrance
and from the garage to the 8' high horizontal board fence along the west side
property line;
2. Install wood garage doors by manufacturer Trinity Fireside, Native Texas Collection -
Austin style; with stain color - black stain finish;
3. Install exterior doors as follows:
a. Front door - New wood panel door with full length narrow glass view panel to be
painted with Sherwin Williams' #SW-6783 "Amalfi" color;
b. Exterior Breezeway door — New wood door with "speak-easy" viewing window;
with stain color to be determined;
c. Interior Breezeway door to house, not seen from street — a metal frame, 3-panel
glass door with horizontal metal dividers; color to be black;
d. Exterior door to detached Garage on rear of building — wood panel Craftsman
Style Door with 8 glass lite view panel in upper portion of the door; color to be
Sherwin Williams' #SW 6258 "Tricorn black";

4. House paint color scheme: Exterior wood trim on eaves, soffits and door trim to be
Sherwin Williams' #SW 6258 "Tricorn Black'';
as per the attached plan, specifications and photos with the condition a building permit is
obtained from the Building Department.
An approved Certificate of Appropriateness is not an approved building permit; a
building permit is / is not required. Contact the City of Grapevine's Building
Department at 817.410.3165 for fees and information regarding permits.
