Mr. Scheidt:
On July 27, 2010, a permit was issued for an in- ground swimming pool at the
above reference address. To date the work has not received a final inspection.
Please be advised that the ordinance adopted by the City of Grapevine requires
all work requiring a permit to be inspected.
Our records indicate that your in- ground swimming pool has been turned down
by the Public Works Department on a required Lot Drainage Inspection on two
different occasions. A swimming pool final and a fence final are still required to
complete this project.
We have tried contacting the contractor to schedule a final building inspection at
this address. However, to date we have not been able to do so. We are writing
to you in hopes that you will allow the inspector to come out and see if we can
get this finaled out.
Equipment installation or construction work that does not comply with codes and
ordinances can cause damage, injury, and death. Our inspectors look closely to
ensure that all codes are met and the installation is safe to the best of their
knowledge. Until such time as we issue an inspection approval for your work, we
cannot confirm that there are no safety violations.
Should you refuse to allow inspection as required by city ordinance, this refusal
will be documented and placed in the permanent records for your property.

Dear Contractor:
Our records indicate that your company has taken out a swimming pool permits
and a building permit that have expired and have not been finaled.
Failure to begin work within 180 days after permit issuance or allowing 180 days
to pass between inspections will result in an expired permit. Once a permit has
expired, a new permit must be obtained and new fees paid. Permits which have
expired for more than 30 days are subject to a $2,000.00 per day fine. No future
permits will be issued until the contractor resolves all expired permits.

plumbing final 12 -0668. The last plumbing inspection on this was a p -trap
inspection; it was turned down because it was not ready for inspection, it has
never been recalled.
The building permit at 2651 Eagle Dr, 11 -1649, is lacking a building final and an
electrical final 11 -1847.
In order to reinstate your registration, all expired permits must be reinstated and
