FROM: BRUNO RUMBELOW, CITY MANAGER
MEETING DATE: AUGUST 17, 2021
SUBJECT: PURCHASE OF TWO 2022 FORD F750 WITH SERVICE BODY AND
CRANE FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT
RECOMMENDATION: City Council to consider approval for the purchase of two 2022 Ford F750
with service body and crane from Chastang Ford for the Public Works
Department.
FUNDING SOURCE: Funds are available in the Utility Enterprise Fund for a total amount not to
exceed $353,302.
BACKGROUND: This purchase is for two, 2022 Ford F750 trucks with service body and
crane to replace two units in the Public Works Utility department. These
vehicles are used in the daily operations of the Utility Department for use
when pulling pumps and motors from lift stations. These trucks meet all
the specifications and requirements of the Public Works Utility department
and Fleet Services.
This purchase will be made in accordance with an existing interlocal

Bids were taken by the Cooperative and a contract was awarded to

determined that the contract would provide the best product and pricing
for meeting the needs of the City.
Staff recommends approval.
