This letter confirms on August 14, 2021 Historic Preservation Staff approved with conditions
#CA21-44 for the property addressed 235 South Dooley Street, legally described as Block:
104, Lot 2A, College Heights Addition, City of Grapevine, to the Grapevine Historic
Preservation Ordinance 91-73 (Appendix G — Grapevine Code of Ordinances), as amended,
for the following:
1. Lift the existing two -car detached garage building and remove the existing garage
foundation; construct a new concrete slab foundation; and lower the garage building
onto the new foundation;
2. Restore the garage building and install a new wood two car wide garage door;
3. Install a new crushed decomposed granite apron in front of the garage door at the
end of the driveway;
4. Construct a new 6' wide by 6' deep wood sided storage building in the rear yard of
the house;
as per the attached drawings and photo with the conditions a building permit is obtained
from the Building Department.
An approved Certificate of Appropriateness is not an approved building permit; a
building permit is / is not required. Contact the City of Grapevine's Building
Department at 817.410.3165 for fees and information regarding permits.
