BC0001, 10-16-13, Rev.10 Page 1 of 1 On this day, August 12, 2021, Terracon Consultants arrived on-site, as requested, to perform concrete coring in the parking garage entrance for the above referenced project. Coring operations were conducted to determine if washout of the flex base under the concrete paving had occurred because of a water leak. The undersigned cored through 8 inches of concrete paving and 4 inches into the flex base. After the extraction of the concrete core, the flex base appeared to be intact in this location. Please see the attached photos and location diagram of the work area. Note: Please note that Terracon’s observation pertains to the area that is noted in the report. Our findings do not represent all the concrete paving and flex base for the entire project. If further investigation is needed by the Structural Engineer, ground penetrating radar scanning, for the area in question, could be an option.
