This letter confirms on August 27, 2021 the Historic Preservation Staff approved #CA21-50
for the property addressed 513 East Texas Street, legally described as Block 104, Lot 3A,
College Heights Addition, Grapevine, City of, Grapevine, Texas. The following was approved
on this Certificate of Appropriateness:
1. Construct new wood picket fence in front yard of house at the front property line and
along the driveway to the front wall of the house;
a. Fence to have one 36" wide x 36" high wood picket gate along the driveway side;
b. One 36" wide x 36" high wood picket gate at the main sidewalk entrance to the
house;
c. Fence and gates are to be painted white;
2. Construct a new wood arbor structure over the main entrance gate at the front sidewalk;
arbor to be painted white;
as per attached site plan and photos with the condition a permit is obtained from the
Building Department.
An approved Certificate of Appropriateness is not an approved Building Permit and a
permit js;f / is not required. Contact the City of Grapevine's Building Department at
817-410-3165 for fees and information regarding permits.
