The following was approved on this Certificate of Appropriateness: 1. Remove the existing 6' tall wood privacy fence at rear of property from the existing metal posts; 2. Replace the fence with a new 6' tall wood fence using dog-eared wood pickets, mounted on new wood rails and secured to the existing metal posts; posts to be boxed in with wood pickets; as per the attached drawings and photos with the condition a permit is obtained from the Building Department. An approved Certificate of Appropriateness is not an approved Building Permit and a permit is / is not required. The fence will be reversed from the present placement so that the "finished" side will face 413 East Texas, and the "pole" side will face David and Sue Franks' property at 412 East Wall Street. The fence between these two properties will be removed and replaced with new material using the existing poles where possible. This is APPROXIMATELY 61 feet. The remaining fence located on the property line between 413 East Texas St., and Marcie and Norman Barfield's home at 420 E. Wall St., will be APPROXIMATELY 24 feet and will be facing 413 East Texas St., and will use the existing poles holding the present fence. The Barfields did not wish to remove the existing fence and granted permission to use the poles that are present. There will be TWO fences in this 24 foot section each facing the owner's property.
