Signature of Applicant Date: Signature of Owner Date: M TO: SITE PLAN REVIEW COMMITTEE MEMBERS FROM: RON STOMBAUGH, DEVELOPMENT MANAGER DATE: JULY 27, 2005 SUBJECT: CONDITIONAL USE REQUEST CU05-49; LOT 6R1, BLOCK 6, METROPLACE 2"D ADDITION RECOMMENDATION Staff recommends the Site Plan Review Committee consider the proposed changes to Conditional Use Request CU99-51 (Ord. 99-139) approved at the November 16, 1999 meeting for a planned commercial center, specifically to allow the possession, storage, retail sale and on -premise consumption of alcoholic beverages (beer and wine only) in conjunction with a restaurant and bowling alley, and take any other action necessary. n • 9111,41961 • Conditional Use Request CU99-51 was considered and approved by Council at their November 16, 1999 meeting to allow for on -premise alcohol beverage sales and consumption (beer and wine only) in conjunction with a restaurant and bowling alley. A special use permit (SU99-13) was also approved at that meeting to allow for video and skill -related games in excess of eight machines and to allow for 15 pool tables. Since the business has been in operation, mixed alcoholic beverages have been sold on premise along with beer and wine. A recent inspection revealed that the ordinance approved by the City Council was approved for beer and wine only thus making mixed beverage sales non-compliant with the approved ordinance. With this request the applicant is simply requesting to amend the original plan to include "mixed beverages" to the product mix relative to alcoholic beverage sales. No other changes are proposed to the site plan or floor plan. /rs O:\ZC U\C U05-49.4sprc TO: COMPANY: RE: Jvt Ar I 6 2005 FROM: lrff,Am NO.
