I understand that a permit may only be issued for parking in the front yard if substantial justification exists to
not locate the boaURV in the side or rear yard. Boat/RV permitted in the front yard must be on paved surfaces.
No portion of a Boat/RV may be placed on or project into the public Right-of-way. The Right -of -Way is defined
as that area between the street and your property line, and usually includes the parkway, sidewalk and a
portion of the yard beyond the sidewalk. (usually 9-10 feet from the back of the curb). All boats, boat trailers,
RV's must have the appropriate current licenses and or registrations.
The issuance of a City permit in no way supercedes or negates any deed restrictions or covenants in place for
any subdivision.

Dear Mark Douglas Skains:
An Inspection of the above referenced property was made on October 26, 2021, As a result of this inspection, the
condition described below was observed:
Condition: Complaints received of trailer in driveway without permits.
The condition described above is in violation of Section J.1.2. of the Zoning Ordinance, which states, that it is a
violation to park a recreational vehicle/trailer, motor homes, or a boat in the required front yard for more than three
(3) days without a permit.
This is your official notice that you will need to bring the property into compliance by removing the
recreational vehicle/trailer, motor home or boat from the required front yard or apply for a permit within
three (3) days of receipt of this letter.
While it is anticipated that your cooperation in this matter will not require the City to take additional action, Section
J.1.2. does authorize the Code Enforcement Division to take actions necessary to obtain compliance with the
ordinance requirements.
