FUNDING SOURCE: Funding for this purchase is currently available in account 115-42281-350-03 (Apparatus and Tools) for a total amount not to exceed $24,074.00. Ianal:(el The original risers were made 27 years ago by Sico America, Inc. Staff is adding the adjustable height stage risers to expand the capability of what can be hosted in the Concord I, II & III rooms where the stage is housed. This purchase is for the addition of pieces that will allow the stage to be bigger, and/or to lay out a runway for fashion shows hosted at the Convention Center. The new pieces will fit side by side with the original pieces. The purchase of the risers was approved in the FY 2015 Budget. This purchase is for: 10 — 6'x 8'x 32"- 40" dual height stages 2 — 5 -step articulated risers with wheels and guardrails 8 — 96" w x 24-32-40" Duravel multiple height drapes (which will cover the risers when expanded). This sole source purchase will be made in accordance with Local Government Code Chapter 252, Subchapter B, Section 252.022(a)(7)(A) per the requirements and criteria required by the Grapevine Convention and Visitors Bureau.
