BACKGROUND INFORMATION This application was submitted by John Lovell, representing Peoples Bank. On September 19, 2006, the City Council approved CU06-36 for a bank with drive through service on this property. The site plan and drawings showing the exterior elevations were presented to Council in conjunction with CU06-36 for reference only, and none of the other documents required for a Move -In -Building were submitted at the time. Staff has provided copies of the site plan and elevations that were included with the Conditional Use submittal for the bank. This structure will be removed upon completion of the permanent bank building in 12-18 months. Plans and a building permit application have been submitted, along with all other documents required by Chapter 7 of the Grapevine Code of Ordinances. Building Inspection Department Staff will ensure that all codes and ordinances are met. At the public hearing for the Move -In -Building on November 21, 2006, Council had several concerns. First, there was no representative present from Peoples Bank to answer questions. Secondly, based on a photograph of the building that was not included with CU06-36, Council had reservations regarding the aesthetics of the structure. Staff subsequently forwarded these comments to the applicant. At the time that the agenda packets were required to be mailed, the applicant had not submitted any revised drawings. Staff has been assured by Martin Schelling of Wright Development that there will be a representative present to speak on behalf of the case.
