WHEREAS, the property owners of Lots 1R2 and 2, Block 1, Grapevine Mills
Addition, recorded in Cabinet A, Slide 6918, Plat Records, Tarrant County, Texas, have
requested that a portion of an existing Public Parking Lot Easement, more specifically
described in Exhibits "A" and "B" attached hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes,
and a portion of an existing Utility Easement, more specifically described in Exhibits "A"
and "B" attached hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes, be abandoned and
vacated; and
WHEREAS, the owners have agreed to dedicate a Public Parking easement equal
in size to the easements being abandoned to insure public parking availability; and
WHEREAS, the existing easements are not needed for public use and will not be
needed in the future for public use; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That all matters stated in the preamble of this ordinance are true and
correct and are hereby incorporated into the body of this ordinance as if copied in their
entirety.
Section 2. That the portion of the existing Public Parking Lot Easement, more
specifically described in Exhibits "A" and "B" attached hereto and incorporated herein for
all purposes, and the portion of the existing Utility Easement, more specifically described
in Exhibits "A" and "B", attached hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes, are
hereby abandoned and vacated for public use and the same are hereby abandoned and
vacated insofar as all public right, title, interest in and to said easements is concerned.
Section 3. That the terms and provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed to be
severable, and that if the validity of any section, subsection, word, sentence or phrase shall
be held to be invalid, it shall not affect the remaining part of this ordinance.
Section 4. The fact that the existing easements are no longer needed by the
public for public usage and would create a hardship or burden upon the City of Grapevine
to keep open and maintain such utility easement creates an urgency and an emergency
for the immediate preservation of the public health, safety, and general welfare which
requires that this ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage and
it is accordingly so ordained.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 5th day of December 2006.

BEING a tract of land out of the Henry Suggs Survey, Abstract Number 1414, in the City of
Grapevine, Tarrant County, Texas, and being a part of Lots 1 R2 and 2, Block 1 of Lot 1 R2
and Lot 2, Block 1, GRAPEVINE MILLS ADDITION, an addition to the City of Grapevine,
Tarrant County, Texas, according to the plat thereof recorded in Cabinet A, Slide 6918 of the
Plat Records of Tarrant County, Texas, being part of a Parking Lot "B" Easement dedicated
to the City of Grapevine, Texas, by deed, recorded in Volume 12747, Page 504 of the Deed
Records of Tarrant County, Texas, (bearing system based on the Public Common Access
Easement for Grapevine Mills Circle recorded in Volume 12693, Page 0291 of the Deed
Records of Tarrant County, Texas and shown on the plat recorded in Cabinet A, Slide 6918
of the Plat Records of Tarrant County, Texas) and being more particularly described -as
follows:
COMMENCING at a point in the east line of the beforementioned Lot 1 R2, Block 1 and the
east line of a Public Common Access Easement (Tract 3), dedicated to the City of Grapevine,
Tarrant County, Texas, by deed for Grapevine Mills Circle, recorded in Volume 12693, Page
0291 of the Deed Records of Tarrant County, Texas, for the westerly common comer of Lot
4, Block 2 and Lot B -R-1, Block 3 of GRAPEVINE MILLS ADDITION, an addition to the City
of Grapevine, Tarrant County, Texas, according to the plat thereof recorded in Cabinet A,
Slide 4095 of the Plat Records of Tarrant County, Texas;
Thence leaving the east line of Lot 1 R2, Block 1, the east line of the Public Common Access
Easement, and the westerly common corner of Lot 4, Block 2 and Lot B -R-1, Block 3
and across Lot 1 R2, Block 1, South 83°43'43" West, a distance of 48.62 feet to a point for the
easterly common corner of Lots 1 R2 and 2, Block 1;
Thence with the common line of Lots 1 R2 and 2, Block 1, North 70°01'24" West, a distance
of 434.86 feet to a point forthe POINT OF BEGINNING ;
THENCE leaving the common line of Lots 1 R2 and 2, Block 1 and across Lot 2, Block 1,
