I have the plans ready to issue other than a note that I was waiting on the required mop sink location and
the required fountain location and designs or confirmation that a water cooler was to be provided and the
design for just the mop sink. The mop sink and fountain are requirements of the plumbing code. What
were you going to provide for these requirements?

At your request we have reviewed the capacity of the existing roof framing at the
referenced building to supportthree new rooftop air conditioning units
We reviewed the data sheets for the units, as provided by your office. They are
identified as follows:
Carrier model 48TCDA05A2A5 -OAOAO - weight = 674 pounds
Carrier model 48TCDA07A2A5 -OAOAO - weight = 827 pounds
Carrier model 48TCDD14A2A5 -OAOAO - weight = 1,400 pounds
We reviewed the roof framing plan prepared by TechniStructures Inc. The
drawing designates the roof structure adjacent to the center column line C as
being designed to support mechanical equipment.
We visited the site and observed that the units are located in the mechanical zone
identified on the roof framing plan. In addition we observed that each unit is
supported by two steel angles that span between roof joists to support the curbs of
the air conditioning units.
Based on this assessment, we are satisfied that the existing roof framing has
adequate capacity to support the proposed equipment.
