Conditional use request CU04-08 was approved at the March 23 Council meeting and allowed for on -premise alcohol beverages sales in conjunction with a restaurant called "The Back Porch Grill and Tavern" located within the North Main Street Shopping Center. With this request the applicant intends to eliminate three parking spaces along the south wall of the restaurant for use as an outdoor patio area for food and beverage service accessed by an existing door from inside the restaurant. The patio area will be designated and protected by a split -rail fence. The three parking spaces removed are offset by the addition of ten spaces along the north side of the building that were previously unavailable when they were contained within a play area for a daycare center that was a tenant in the building.
