SUBJECT: APPOINTMENT TO ANIMAL SHELTER ADVISORY COMMITTEE
RECOMMENDATION: City Council to consider an appointment to the Animal Shelter Advisory
Committee to fill a vacancy.
FUNDING SOURCE: Not Applicable
BACKGROUND: Lieutenant Larry Hallmark served as the Municipal Officer on the Animal
Shelter Advisory Committee. With his retirement, there is now a vacant
position on the Committee that needs to be filled.
The Committee members currently are:
Joy Mayo, Citizen
Sherri Olsen, Citizen
Corey Price, Animal Welfare Representative
Nancy Snyder, Citizen
Dr. Jason Steinle, Veterinarian
Kristina Valentine, Animal Shelter Staff
Vacant, Municipal Officer
Staff recommends appointing Assistant Chief Tim Hall to the Municipal
Officer position. Assistant Chief Tim Hall has been involved with the
Animal Services for a number of years and currently oversees the
operation.
Assistant Chief Tim Hall's application is attached.
