Home My WebLink AboutRES 2008-024 RESOLUTION NO. 2008-24 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, DECLARING CERTAIN PROPERTY SURPLUS AND/OR SALVAGE AND PROVIDING FOR THE AUTHORIZATION TO DISPOSE OF SAID PROPERTY AT AUCTION AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE WHEREAS, it has been determined that the City of Grapevine, Texas is in possession of items that are no longer used and of little or no value to the City and are described in the list designated as "Attachment A"; and WHEREAS, the procedure for notification of the owners of surplus and/or salvage property as outlined in the State of Texas statute has been met. NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS: Section 1. That all matters stated in the above preamble are true and correct and are incorporated herein as if copied in their entirety. Section 2. That all items described in "Attachment A"to this resolution are hereby declared surplus and/or salvage. Section 3. That the City Manager, or his designee, is hereby authorized to schedule an auction for the purpose of offering for sale all items listed in "Attachment A" and to obtain the best value possible for these items.
