A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, MAKING FINDINGS OF CERTAIN
FACTS RELATIVE TO THE PURCHASE OF JANITORIAL
SERVICES AS A PERSONAL SERVICE FROM QUALITY
ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES AND AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE SAID CONTRACTS AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine desires to purchase janitorial services for various
City facility buildings from Quality Environmental Services as a personal service as
authorized by the City Attorneys Opinion dated September 24, 1996; and
WHEREAS, Quality Environmental Services provides janitorial services and has
provided this service to the City of Grapevine since 1996.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That all matters stated in the above preamble are true and correct and
are incorporated herein as if copied in their entirety.
Section 2. That the City Council of the City of Grapevine authorizes the purchase
of the janitorial services on an annual basis for a total not to exceed the annual budgeted
amount of$254,252.72.
Section 3. That the City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to take all-steps
necessary to consummate the purchase.
Section 4. That this resolution shall take effect from and after the date of its
passage.

GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 7th day of November, 2006.
