A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
OR THE CITY MANAGER'S DESIGNATE TO PURCHASE
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY EQUIPMENT THROUGH
THE STATE OF TEXAS INTERLOCAL COOPERATION
CONTRACT PROGRAM AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE
WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine, Texas is a local government in the State of
Texas and as such is empowered by Texas Local Government Code Section 791.025 (c)
to make purchases through contracts established by the State of Texas Department of
Information Resources; and
WHEREAS, the State of Texas Department of Information Resources have
established various contracts for information technology equipment that satisfies the
requirement of the local government to seek competitive bids for the purchase of goods
and services; and
WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine, Texas, has an established cooperative
purchasing agreement with the State of Texas and the City wishes to utilize an
established contract with AT&T Solutions do Anyware, Inc. for the following information
technology equipment:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That all matters stated in the above preamble are true and correct and
are incorporated herein as if copied in their entirety.
Section 2. That the City Council of the City of Grapevine authorizes the purchase
of the information technology equipment in the total amount of$39,460.64.
Section 3. That the City Manager, or his designate, is authorized to take all steps
necessary to consummate the purchase of the information technology equipment.
Section 4. That this resolution shall take effect from and after the date of its
passage.

GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 21st day of February, 2006.
