In accordance with STATE LAW & CITY ORDINANCE, Illuminated signs must
be constructed, installed and wired by a State Licensed Electrical Sign
Contractor or State Licensed Master Electrician. Signs may also be constructed
by a fabricator approved by a Nationally Recognized Testing Agency and
labeled accordingly.

Section 60.13.1.e of the City of Grapevine Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
requires that an affidavit be submitted for all Real Estate Signs advertising the lease
or rent of buildings or space within buildings. Such affidavit shall certify that the
building is currently vacant or will become vacant within 30 days. The affidavit shall
be submitted by the property owner or licensed property Management Company.

I understand that the permit is valid for a period of not more than one (1 ) year, and may be renewed
subject to Section 60.6.1.e of the City of Grapevine Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance. I further
understand that violations of the zoning ordinance are subject to penalties up to and including the
issuance of citations. In accordance with Section 70 of the City of Grapevine Comprehensive Zoning
Ordinance anyone found guilty of violations shall be fined a sum not to exceed 2,000.00 dollars for
each offense, and a separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day during or on which a
violation occurs or continues.

In reference to above permit maximum gross surface area of Real Estate sign shall not be more than sixteen square feet
as per Sign Ordinance Section 60 H.3. The sign submitted for the permit is thirty two square feet. The site plan showing
the sign location shall be legible showing all easements, sign location, setback of sign from the property line and from
the easement lines. Provide site plan showing sign minimum 25' from front property line and label distance of sign from
120 feet drainage easement on the lot.
Vicki Hecko, the permit staff tried few times to reach you and she also emailed you a real estate affidavit form. Please
submit real estate form as required for real estate sign.
Provide all required information in two hard copies 11x17 size paper.
