RE: EXPIRED BUILDING PERMIT APPLICATION, 1310 all St, #21-0835
1100 WWZ
On March 11, 2012 a building permit application was submitted to this office for
review for the above referenced address. Our records indicate that your permit
has never been issued. Your company was notified on March 14, 2021 by the
city plans examiner of additional information and approvals needed for review.
Performing work without a permit is a violation of city ordinance, regardless ot
whether or not an application has been made. Additionally, failure to obtain your
permit within 180 days of application has resulted in the expiration of the permit.
If this job is to proceed a new permit application submittal is required.
Sincerely,
Vicki 0

RE: EXPIRED PERMIT APPLICATION, 1060 Texan TH. Cell #21-0902
Dear Applicant:
On March 16. 2021 a building application was submitted to this office for review
for the above referenced address. Our records indicate that the plans were
approved and the permit is ready to be issued on March 19, 2021; but the permit
has not been paid and the jobsite plans set have not been picked up.
Performing work without a permit is a violation of city ordinance, regardless of
whether or not an application has been made, and could result in the revocation
of your contractor's registration for a period of not less than one year, and up to a
$2,000.00 fine. Additionally, failure to obtain your permit within 180 days of
application has resulted in the expiration of the permit.
Sincerely,
Guita Mcllroy

Per authorization from Rustin Fowler with CA Bass on behalf of Tracy Reeves (Verizon
Wireless), Star Structures, Inc. provided summary of the structural analysis and the mount
analysis results to investigate and make recommendations for the existing TXU structure
no. 9/5 based on the proposed changed conditions.
The proposed equipment is to be mounted to the existing platform assembly. The proposed
mount configuration was analyzed using RISA-3D. The input and output from the mount
analysis is attached to the end of this report.
The structural analysis was performed on the existing 105'-0" double circuit transmission
monopole to determine the effects of installing mounts above the existing support
assembly at elevation 101'-0" (±) above ground.
The vertical loads due to the weight of antennas, mounts, coax, and transmission lines
and the shear loads due to the wind at the antennas, mounts, coax, and transmission lines
are transferred to the existing pole at various elevations along the height of the pole.

ANALYSIS:
The existing Steel Monopole was analyzed using a comprehensive program entitled "PLS
pole" and hand calculations. Please find the attached "General Description of the
Program".
Based on the stress analysis performed, the structure was analyzed in accordance with the
latest relevant revision of ANSUASCE 7-10, "ASCE standard for transmission
structures" and the TXU loading specifications.
The platform analysis was performed (using RISA-313) in accordance with ANSI/TIA-
222-G for 90-mph wind (equivalent to 115-mph per 2015 IBC) with no ice and 30-mph
wind with 3/4" radial ice. The following design criteria were used in the analysis in
conjunction with the ANSI/TIA-222-G Standard: Structure Class 11, Exposure Category
C, and Topographic Category 1.
This platform was mapped by Primoris Services Corporation and data gathered by Star
Structures, Inc. in the field in November, 2020.
The pole computer model was based on the structural analysis report by FWT.
The existing pole was analyzed using the following data:

Results:
The existing 12-ft top platform has the capacity to safely support the existing and
proposed changed condition after the recommended modifications (see attached)
have been implemented as shown under the analysis section of this report, for all load
cases considered. The maximum member stress loaded up to 89.9% of the capacity.
The existing TXU Electric 105'-0" self support transmission Monopole has the capacity
to safely support the existing and proposed changed condition as shown under the
analysis section of this report, for all load cases considered. The actual loads in the
members are within allowable.
Foundation:
Foundation design loads were not provided. Foundation analysis is not in the scope of
this report.
Conclusions & Recommendations:
Based on the stress analysis performed, the existing 12-ft top platform (after the
recommended modifications have been implemented) is in conformance with the
ANSI/TIA-222-G standards for the loading considered under the criteria listed and
referenced in the report section.
The existing 12-ft top platform (after the recommended modifications have been
implemented), while loaded with the associated antennas with the proposed changed
condition complies with all the loading specifications which were previously discussed
and will support the additional load.
