RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, MAKING FINDINGS OF CERTAIN
FACTS RELATIVE TO THE PURCHASE OF A FORENSIC
VIDEO SYSTEM; DETERMINING THAT THE SYSTEM IS
AVAILABLE UNDER THE GENERAL SERVICES
ADMINISTRATION FEDERAL SUPPLY SCHEDULE AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE SAID
CONTRACTS AND DOCUMENTS AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine desires to purchase the following forensic video
system from Ocean Systems, Inc. under the United States General Services
Administration Federal Supply Schedule as follows:
1 Each Avid Media Composer with Adrenaline
HD WINXP-Dual Core wXepm 2.33Ghz
Processors $21,233.00
1 Each Additional Software/Hardware $18,766.00
Total .................................................... $39,999.00
WHEREAS, Ocean Systems, Inc. is an authorized GSA contractor under the current
GSA contract number GS -35F -0638J.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That all matters stated in the above preamble are true and correct and
are incorporated herein as if copied in their entirety.
Section 2. That the City Council of the City of Grapevine authorizes the purchase
of the forensic video system as listed above for a total not to exceed $39,999.00.
Section 3. That the City Manger, or his designee, is authorized to take all steps
necessary to consummate the purchase of said system.
Section 4. That this resolution shall take effect from and after the date of its
passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 4th day of September 2007.
