CALL TO ORDER: 4:00 o.m.
CITIZEN COMMENTS
Any person who is not scheduled on the agenda may address the Board of
Commissioners under Citizen Comments or on any other agenda item by completing
a Citizen Appearance Request form with the Executive Director. A member of the
public may address the Board of Commissioners regarding an item on the agenda
either before or during the Board's consideration of the item, upon being recognized
by the Chair of the Board or upon the consent of the Board. In accordance with the
Texas Open Meetings Act, the Board is restricted in discussing or taking action during
Citizen Comments.

NEW BUSINESS
2. Consideration of the minutes from the March 24, 2022 meeting and take any
necessary action.
3. Consideration and approval of Resolution No. 22-02 to authorize the executive
director to enter into a contract with John A. Blakeway, CPA for audit services.
4. Consideration and acceptance of the February 2022 monthly financial statements
and take necessary action.
5. Report by the Ex Officio member of the Senior Citizens Advisory Board on the
April 5, 2022 meeting.
ADJOURNMENT
In accordance with the Open Meeting Law, Texas Government Code, Chapter 551, 1
hereby certify that the above agenda was posted on the official boards at Grapevine City

The Board of Commissioners of the Grapevine Housing Authority met in Regular Session on this the 28th day of April
2022, in the Conference Room of the Grapevine Housing Authority, 131 Starr Place, with the following members
present to wit:
Linda Troeger
Chair
Bonnie McHugh
Vice Chair/Finance
Bettye Bratcher
Resident Commissioner
Teri Rhodes -Cantu
Commissioner
Shonda Shaefer
Commissioner
Constituting a quorum, with the following also present:
Duff O'Dell City Council Liaison

REGULAR MEETING
Chairperson Troeger called the regular meeting to order at 4:00 p.m.

NEW BUSINESS
Item #1 Reoort of the Executive Director (informational Only)
A. Rent Delinauencv and Information Sheet
The Executive Director reported to the Board on the rent delinquencies, number of empty units, work orders
and statistical information for the waiting list for Public Housing through April 25, 2022.
B. Capital Funds Reoort and Work in Proaress
The Executive Director reported to the Board on the current Capital Funds and corresponding projects.
C. Reoort of Public Housino Activitv and Issues
The Grapevine Housing Authority had the annual picnic May 261h and had a good turnout.
D. Uodate from the Resident Advisory meetino held on April 15. 2022
The minutes from the April 15, 2022 Resident Advisory Board meeting were presented to the Board. The
residents and GHA staff planned the picnic in May.
E. Quarterly Investment Reoort for Quarter 1 2022
The Executive Director presented the Quarterly Investment Report to the Board of Commissioners.
Item #2 - Consideration of the minutes from the March 24. 2022 meeting and take anv necessary action.
The Board was provided the minutes from the March 24, 2022 meeting for approval.
Commissioner McHugh moved and Commissioner Rhodes -Cantu seconded to accept the March 24, 2022.
Ayes: Troeger, McHugh, Rhodes -Cantu, Shaefer and Bratcher
Nays: None
Motion passed: 5-0
Item #3 - Consideration and aooroval of Resolution No. 22-02 to authorize the executive director to enter into a contract
with John A. Btakeway. CPA for audit services.
The Board was presented with the bid for audit services. Commissioner Schaefer asked questions regarding the
pricing.
Commissioner Rhodes -Cantu moved and Commissioner Bratcher seconded to approve Resolution 22-02 authorizing
the executive director to enter into a contract with John A. Blakeway, CPA for audit services.
Ayes: Troeger, McHugh, Rhodes -Cantu, Shaefer and Bratcher
Nays: None
Motion passed: 5-0
Item #4 - Consideration and acceotance of the February 2022 monthly financial statements and take necessary
action.
The Executive Director presented the board with electronic copies of the February 2022 financial statements for
review.
Commissioner McHugh moved and Commissioner Rhodes -Cantu seconded to accept the February 2022 financial
statements.
Ayes: Troeger, McHugh, Rhodes -Cantu, Shaefer and Bratcher
Nays: None
Motion passed: 5-0
Item #5 - ReDgrt by the Ex Officio member of the Senior Citizens Advisory Board on the April 5, 2022 meeting.
Commissioner Rhodes -Cantu updated the Board from the Senior Citizens Advisory Board meeting.
No action taken.
ADJOURNMENT
Commissioner McHugh moved and Commissioner Bratcher seconded that the meeting be adjourned.
Ayes: Troeger, McHugh, Rhodes -Cantu , Shaefer and Bratcher
Nays: None
Motion passed: 5-0
