The undersigned met with you at the above referenced marina site at 2:00 P.M. on Friday 8 May
15. The purpose of the visit was to observe the column and beam framing system for the
structural erection and construction of two (2) floating multiple slip docks. The weather wind was
had light to moderate southerly winds under mostly cloudy skies and 70-80 degrees Fahrenheit
temperature. Both of the structural plans were prepared by Mr. Douglas E. Pluth, P.E. TX no.
83064, signed and dated on 3/2/15 by Rayco Marinas 1270 Tribble Rd., Sherman, TX 75090.
The inspection report is Project No. GUA-15-0478 & 9, Grapevine, TX.
We offer the following very brief report:
1. The first structure observed is a new 12 boat slip at dock 300, which is at the far end of several
slips/docks anchored and linked together, and is the closer series of docks near the easterly
shore' and the dock access ramps.
2. The second structure observed is 32 boat slip of which 18 exist and 14 are new at dock no. 200
which is further from the easterly shore. It. Also, is anchored and connected to several existing
slips/docks.
3. The slips/docks are cross anchored by concrete blocks and cabled and tightened with a winch.
4. The docks are constructed with galvanized, trusses floating on rubberized, Styrofoam filled drum
shaped supports at the specified locations. The horizontal rigidity consists of horizontal trusses
integrated with the vertical trussed making a floating platform rigid.
5. Roof consists of a metal "R" panel deck supported on structural steel columns at specific cross
and longitudinal locations along the dock's longitudinal and short directions axes.
6. The flooring consists of concrete squares set in metal angles and held in place horizontally.
7. We find that the construction has been constructed and erected in accordance with the structural
plans prepared by Rayco Marinas of Sherman, TX.

observations of the current apparent performance of the docks and aUpo, and the intended
performance of the superstructure areas, the local area, the qualified knowledge and experience
of the investigation engineer and in accordance with general accepted structure engineering
observation practice at the time of observation. We reserve the right to amend this report
should future circumstances aowarrant the need.
