The City of Grapevine Parks and Recreation Board met Thursday, May 11, 1995 at
7:05 p.m. at 421 Church Street, Grapevine, Texas with the following members
present, to -wit:
Denise Gasmire Roy Robertson
John Fox Craig Neill
Lisa Haines Marion Brekken
Doug McKelvey Roland Johnson
Linda Dobbs Willis
Absent:
Robert Brunson Donald Florence
Larry Atchley Shane Wilbanks
Heidi Baddaker
The following City Staff were present:
Doug Evans Joe Moore
The meeting was called to order at 7:05 p.m. by Denise Gasmire. Motion was made
by Doug McKelvey and seconded by Linda Dobbs Willis to approve the minutes of the
April 20, 1995 Parks and Recreation Board minutes. Motion passed unanimously.
There were no citizens requests.
DISCUSSION ITEMS FOR POSSIBLE CONSIDERATION
Main Street Days - Doug Evans oriented Board as to responsibilities required of each.
A schedule for staffing and small Master Plan maps were handed out.
REPORTS
® Youth Activities Report was given by Denise Gasmire. Eighteen to twenty youth
are participating.
® A report on Bear Creek Park was given by Joe Moore.
® Research will be done to determine if there are adequate showers in new
Community Activity Center.
0 Suggested that Park Closing Hours Ordinance sign also be in Spanish.
0 A consensus approved not to send monthly reports to Board members, but to have
one copy available at each meeting for review.
Motion was made by Doug McKelvey and seconded by Lisa Haines to adjourn. Time:
8:12 p.m.
