Consider approval of Adopt -A -Road agreement with the Belfort Homeowners Association, Inc. for Heritage Avenue, from Hall -Johnson to Bear Creek and renewal of an Adopt -A -Road agreement with the Glade Crossing Neighborhood Assn. for Baze Road, from Glade Road to Hughes Road. C. December Parks & Recreation Advisory Board meeting D. Review a proposed agreement with Faith Christian School for the use of facilities at their campus by the City VI. DIR TOR OF PARKS & RECREATION CITY OF GRAPEVl NE COUNTY OF TARRANT STATE OF TEXAS The City of Grapevine Parks and Recreation Board met Thursday, November 15, 2001 at 7:00 p.m. at the Senior Activities Center, 421 Church Street, Grapevine, Texas with the following members present, to wit: Staff: Stan Hinson Hayden Smith Larry Francis Barb Keeney — GCISD Liaison Doug Evans Joe Moore Guests: Patty Ririzarri Kris Carlson Ryan Wade Julie Florence Terry Allen Clydene Johnson — Council Rep. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairperson Hayden Smith. A motion was made by Larry Francis and seconded by Ryan Wade to approve the minutes of the October 13, 2001 meeting. The motion passed unanimously. Old Business There was discussion of agreements with the local youth athletic association regarding the utilization of facilities and season. Doug Evans discussed his views and recommended approval in concept. A motion was made by Stan Hinson and seconded by Julie Florence to approve the agreements. The motion passed unanimously. New Business The budget freeze is still on, but revenues are looking good. A motion was made by Julie Florence and seconded by Larry Francis to approve the Adopt -A -Road application with the Belfort Homeowners Association, Inc. for Heritage Avenue, from Hall -Johnson to Bear Creek. The motion passed unanimously. A motion was made by Larry Francis and seconded by Ryan Wade to approve the renewal of the Adopt -A -Road agreement with the Glade Crossing Neighborhood Assn. for Baze Road, from Glade Road to Hughes Road. The motion passed unanimously. A motion was made by Stan Hinson and seconded by Terry Allen to cancel the December Park Board meeting due to the holidays. The motion passed unanimously. The next meeting will be in January 2002. Doug Evans discussed Faith Christian School's joint use agreement and concept. A motion was made by Stan Hinson and seconded by Julie Florence to approve the agreement. The motion passed unanimously. Miscellaneous Staff Reports Larry Francis reported on the TRAPS Regional Conference. Terry Allen inquired about a list of maintenance items at Oak Grove Baseball and inquired on their status. Barb Keeney asked Joe Moore to comment on Keep Texas Beautiful — Keep Grapevine Beautiful Program. A motion was made by Larry Francis and seconded by Ryan Wade to adjourn.
