Recreation Advisory Board under Citizen Comments or on any other agenda item
by completing a Citizen Appearance Request form with the staff. A member of the
public may address the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board regarding an item on
the agenda either before or during the Board's consideration of the item, upon
being recognized by the Chairman or upon the consent of the Parks & Recreation
Advisory Board in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, the Parks &
Recreation Advisory Board is restricted in discussing or taking action during Citizen
Comments.

The City of Grapevine Parks & Recreation Advisory Board met June 16, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. at The Vine
Arts & Events Center located at 225 West Worth Street, Grapevine, Texas with the following members
present, to-wit:

Christian called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
A moment of silence was observed.
Approval of Minutes
A motion was made to approve the May 19, 2022 meeting minutes.

The following Adopt-An-Area Agreement was reviewed.

A motion was made to approve the new Adopt-An-Area agreement.

Nays: None

The following Adopt-An-Area Agreements were reviewed.

A motion was made to approve the Adopt-An-Area agreement renewals.

Discussions
Paul Slechta led a discussion to decide on direction of the naming the new park installation at Dove
Road and Panhandle Drive.
GCISD Student Liaison Update
Aubrey Alexander reported that new turf is being installed at Mustang-Panther stadium.
GCISC Board Liaison
Kathy Spradley reported that the district is focusing on staffing and maintenance during the summer.
Parks and Recreation Update
Trent Kelley provided an update on Parks and Recreation. Updates included Mystery in the
Park, All Star Tournament, Recreation, Athletics, Active Adults, and Club All-Access.
Randy Sell provided an update on Lake Parks and Dove Creek Day Camp.
