This letter confirms on August 4, 2022 the Historic Preservation Staff approved with
conditions #CA22-45 for the property addressed 846 East Worth Street, legally described as
Block 8, Lot 7, City of Grapevine to the Grapevine Historic Preservation Ordinance 91-73
(Appendix G - Grapevine Code of Ordinances), as amended, for the following..
1. Replace the existing composition shingle roof with new GAF Timberline High
Definition shingles in "Charcoal" color;
2. Replace the existing aluminum gutters
aluminum getters and downspouts;
and downspouts with new black painted
as per the attached photo and sample with the condition a permit be obtained from the
Building Department.
An approved Certificate of Appropriateness is not an approved building permit; a
building permit' I ks-,/ is not required. Contact the City of Grapevine's Building
Department at 817.410.3165 for fees and information regarding permits.

Re: Roofing of home
Dear Mr. Klempin:
Our roof is in need of replacement, and we are moving forward. We have chosen a GAF Timberline HD,
Charcoal shingle which will be put on by Lifetime Roofing. We will also be replacing the rain gutters and
downspouts with black aluminum gutters.
Attached you will find our Certificate of Appropriateness Application, along with a picture of our home
and the shingle we will be using. I trust this meets with the requirements, if not please feel free to reach
