The application, along with the required filing fee may be resubmitted any time thereafter for reconsideration. Delays in scheduling applications before the Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council created by city staff shall not be considered a part of the four month period. Originally approved in March, 2004 the Grapevine Kawasaki motorcycle dealership relied on building signage to advertise its presence along the eastbound service road of State Highway 114. HISTORY OF TRACT AND SURROUNDING AREA: The subject property and adjacent areas were rezoned in the 1984 City Rezoning from 1-1 Industrial District to "PID" Planned Industrial Development District. The property at the southwest corner of South Main Street and the frontage road of State Highway 114 West was rezoned in 1985 to "CC" Community Commercial District and has numerous conditional use permits for on -premise alcohol beverages sales in conjunction with restaurants. A special use permit was approved for the Cinemark Theater for video games (SU94-02). A conditional use permit was approved by Council at the March 20, 2001 meeting (CU01-06) for an automotive sales and service business focused specifically on Corvettes to the south of the subject site but was never constructed. At the March 23, 2004 meeting, conditional use request CU04- 06 was approved on the subject site which allowed for a motorcycle dealership with sales and service of new and used motorcycles, ATV, watercraft and associated equipment.
