The REC of Grapevine located at 1175 Municipal Way, Grapevine, Texas with the following members
present, to -wit:

Roy Robertson called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

Chris Smith introduced Erin Burke as the new Event Production Manager.

The following Adopt -An -Area Agreementwas reviewed.

Presentations
Michelle Caro provided an update on the Club All -Access program.
Morgan Denny provided an update on RISE Adaptive Sports.
GCISD Student Liaison Update
Aubrey Alexanderwas notin attendance; therefore, no updatewas given.
GCISC Board Liaison
Kathy Spradley gave an update on GCISD. Updates included homecoming plans for Grapevine High
School and Colleyville Heritage High School as well as information about the Grapevine versus
Colleyville football game. Other updates included administration staffing, Bands of America
competition, and the relaunch of the Gold Card Program for individuals 65 years and older.
Parks and Recreation Update.
Erin Burke provided an update for Community Events, which included Sunset Live! Concert series
and Carol of Lights.
Randy Sell and Morgan Denny provided an update for Lake Parks. Updates included The Vineyard
Campgrounds, new reservation software integration, summer programs recap, and upcoming fall
programming and events.

Trent Kelly provided an update for Recreation and Athletics, which included GrapeFest logistics for
The REC, The Pickleball and Tennis Classic, Carnival of Tennis, Work Ready Texas, National Night
Out, and staff attendance at conferences.
Chris Smith provided a Parks and Recreation update, which included The REC Mainenance
week recap, DFW Directors Association fundraiser, Jones Branch Park, Sunshine Harbor,
TRA update, capital projects, revenue, and staffing changes. Additionally, Chris recognized
Grapevine Rotary for their donation of the Jones Branch Park plaque.
