PLANNER II DEVELOPMENT SERVICES SITE PLAN REVIEW COMMITTEE NOVEMBER 4, 2015 STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF TARRANT CITY OF GRAPEVINE The Site Plan Review Committee of the City of Grapevine, Texas met in Session, on this the 4t" day of November 2015, in the Planning and Zoning Conference Room, 200 South Main Street, Second Floor, Grapevine, Texas with the following members present -to -wit: Larry Oliver Scott Williams Chairman Member constituting a quorum with Darlene Freed absent and the following City Staff: Ron Stombaugh Albert Triplett Jr. Susan Batte Development Services Asst. Director Planner Planning Technician Larry Oliver called the meeting to order at 2:30 p.m. EW BUSINESS CONDITIONAL USE APPLICATION CU15 -43 —GRAPEVINE KAWASAKI First for the Committee to consider was conditional use application CU15 -39 for property located at 721 West State Highway 114 and platted as Lot 2a, Block 1, and Cinemark. The applicant was requesting a conditional use permit to amend the previously approved site plan of CU12 -05 (Ord. 2012 -15) specifically for the addition of shade structures on six parking spaces. After a brief discussion, Larry Oliver moved to approve conditional use application CU15 -43 with the condition that the parking spaces shall not be used for display purposes. Scott Williams seconded the motion, which prevailed by the following vote: Ayes: Oliver and Williams Nays: None CONDITIONAL USE APPLICATION CU15 -45 — RACETRAC First for the Committee to consider was conditional use application CU15 -39 for property located at 3955 Grapevine Mills Parkway and platted as Lot 1, Block 1, Racetrac Grapevine. The applicant was requesting a conditional use permit to amend the previously approved site plan of CU12 -24 (Ord. 2012 -30) specifically to revise the 110415 1 SITE PLAN REVIEW COMMITTEE NOVEMBER 4, 2015 exterior elevations, reduce the area of the structure, reduce the quantity fuel pumps and increase the quantity of outdoor seats in conjunction with a convenience store. After a brief discussion, Scott Williams moved to approve conditional use application CU1 5-45. Larry Oliver seconded the motion, which prevailed by the following vote: Ayes: Oliver and Williams Nays: None CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES Next for the Committee to consider were the Site Plan Review Committee minutes of September 2, 2015. Scott Williams moved to approve the Site Plan Review Committee minutes of September 2, 2015. Larry Oliver seconded the motion, which prevailed by the following vote: Ayes: Oliver and Williams Nays: None With no further business to discuss, Larry Oliver adjourned the meeting at 2:40 p.m. PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE SITE PLAN REVIEW COMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS ON THIS THE 17TH DAY OF NOVEMBER 2015.
