Topsoil shall be stockpiled for landscaping purposes. 2. The exposed subgrade shall be proof – rolled to detect any soft or poorly compacted areas. All weak area shall be removed and replaced with material of similar classification, moisture and density as adjacent in– place soils. 3. The contractor shall establish interior drainage swales to remove rainfall from the site. Water must not be allowed to pond in tree grub holes. The site should be graded such that positive surface drainage away from the work areas is established and maintained at all times. Water must not be allowed to pond on the surface during construction. 4. The contractor shall provide for sediment and erosion control as required by the City of Grapevine throughout the construction of the project. Hay bales or filter fabric nets placed of the toe of slope or in the flow line of ditches may be used until landscaping is complete and ground cover is established. 5. The subgrade shall be scarified to a minimum depth of 6 inches and uniformly compacted to a minimum of 95 percent of ASTM D 698 at a minimum of +3 percentage points above the soil's optimum moisture determined by that test. The fill materials should then be spread in loose, relatively horizontal lifts, lessthan 9 inches thich and uniformly compacted to the some criteria.
